Sciencesoft Scholarship, Strathclyde University
The Sciencesoft Scholarship Programme has been set up with the University of Strathclyde. Sciencesoft has made a seven year pledge to help undergraduate students, studying science or mathematics, who need and merit financial assistance. Today Sciencesoft sponsors five students through this scholarship. Students have found the programme to be of immense benefit and some comments from the students are shown below:
“I am the first in my family to attend university and I hope I can finally work towards a life above the poverty line and in turn financially support my own family. Thank you so, so much. I wouldn’t be this optimistic about my future without your funding”.
BSc (Hons) Mathematics, Strathclyde University Student
“I would like to extend my deepest gratitude and thanks to Sciencesoft Ltd for the scholarship I received. It has been greatly appreciated and has helped me with all the essentials needed to ensure a successful year at Strathclyde University”.
BSc Physics Student, Strathclyde University Student
“The Sciencesoft scholarship has been beneficial to me throughout the year and has definitely made the transition from Secondary to University so much easier than it might have been otherwise. The scholarship has provided me with funding which has enabled me to focus entirely on my studies rather than finding part-time work”.
BSc Mathematics & Statistics with Accounting, Strathclyde University Student

This student is now a full-time employee of Sciencesoft.

The programme lasts 3 months over the summer period and is open to students studying science-based subjects. The internship provides a structured overview and practical detail on how the Company’s prize-winning software is built, maintained and sold into a highly competitive, global market. Sciencesoft mentors also guide and advise students on work pressures, preparing them for their careers after graduation.
